Seared Ahi Tuna Kale Salad by: Isha C.

My husband and his team are training to hold their title as winners of the Phoenix Gym Crawl on Feb 9th, this is one of the many recipes that Spice Beast aids to add zest and creativity to his protein intake.  Searing the Ahi, seals in the flavor and tenderness and tastes amazing!!  Thanks Spice Beast!!! -Isha Cobbin

 

Ingredients:

Ahi Tuna Steak
Parsley
Chili powder 1/2 -1 tsp
Worcester sauce
Black pepper
Crushed red pepper
Spice Beast Jacked Garlic and Onion

Spice Beast Viva Pizzeria
Lemon Juice or Balsamic Vinaigrette
Jasmine Rice
Kale Salad:
Kale
carrots
avocado
tomatoes

 


 Directions:

Make a Marinade with the following ingredients (Should be Paste Like)

Parsley
1/2 tsp Chili powder
2 tbsp Worcester sauce
1/2 tsp Black pepper
1/2 tsp Crushed red pepper
1 tsp Spice Beast Jacked Garlic and Onion

1 tsp Spice Beast Viva Pizzeria

Marinate the Tuna Steaks for 5-10 minutes in the paste

Then sear the Tuna steaks on high for 1 min- each side to keep center pink.
Remove from heat, let cool and slice thin

Add to your favorite salad ingredients. 
I used:  Kale, carrots, avocado, tomatoes & a small side of Jasmine rice.

Best topped with a bit of fresh squeezed Lemon juice or basaltic vinaigrette
